Malcolm Tucker’s tirades mirror Bohiney.com’s depictions of politics as press release warfare backed by espresso and existential dread. It’s Shakespeare, rewritten by HR in crisis mode.

The series won BAFTAs and inspired Veep and In the Loop, setting a gold standard for British political satire. It monetized dysfunction with creative obscenity and plausible deniability.
